I think the best way to send out the message is to post it on facebook. That way many people would see it. Some might not care, but there are others who stop to read about things that are intersting

1. Create Post on Facebook 5 minutes

What I already do to solve this problem

I already help myself by choosing the days that I play computer and how long I play. I choose to play on Saturdays for 2 hours. This gives me a longer time to talk with family members and go outside to play with friends. This also gives me time to improve my school learning so i can get a better education when I am choosing a job.

I also help others by inviting them over to my house to play sports or other things we can do together instead of just playing the computer. I also sometimes go over to other peoples houses to finish my homework.

Addiction

Why I care

I think electronic addiction has become a problem lately because almost everyone has a device in their hands anywhere. Lots of young people are so addicted to games, they don't want to do anything else in their lives. Their might be a huge test in school the next day, but lots of people will just say they will do it, but end up playing until morning. They might not even be allowed to play, but yet they play secretly in their room with the door locked. It might not be a huge problem at first, but as they get older, the games may consume their lives.

People might be so consumed in games when they are older, that they might quit their jobs just to paly computer games. Once they get bored of the game, they will finally notice whats going on and they will have already been destructed. i care because as more people around me are being consumed by games, all they will talk about is games and wont want to talk about anything else.

Why You Should Care

If you are one of the people who love to play games, try to limit the time you play on the computers or else this is likely to happen. You might just say you are not addicted to the games but all you do is stare at a computer screen for 24/7. You might feel like you don't really want to talk about anything else other than what you always love doing. You might feel depressed and angry at others just beccause you are mad at yourself.

Why You Should Care (2)

Even if you don't like to play computer games, your friends might all just be talking about their games and you wont be able to talk with them without feeling like you both don't know what is the conversation that is going on. The economy might not care about anything anymore and peoples educations wont be proper and they wont know what to do when they are all older. And nobody would care about what you want to say, or want to do, or talk about

Digital Citizens Questions

1) Do computers give us more human connections or less human connections?

A: I think computers give us less human connections, because you are not actually physically seeing the person. You may be video chatting on MSN but you are not actually seeing that person in real life, so you might not be concentrating on the conversation so your mind is elsewhere. Things like meeting people in games wouldn't give you human connections because that person might say they look like this and they are this gender, but if you actually meet the person, they might be something totally different than they decribed.

2) 5 rules for manners and ethics

1. Don't cyberbully online

2. Don't play too much online

3. Be respectful when chatting or playing games

4. Don't hack or scam other peoples accounts in games

5. be carefull when talking to someone you don't know

3) Should teachers discourage or encourage multitasking?

A: I think teachers should discourage multitasking because results show that people who say they are good at multitasking are actually worse at acedemics than people who don't multitask. I also think that people who multitask aren't really paying attention to what is around them. For example, you might be playing with your iPod walking across the street when a driver who isn't paying attention might be driving by. Also a teacher might be giving out test notes but you might not be paying attention since you are on the computer.

4) Write a 6 word poem about being a digital citizen

A: School Work Before Playing Online Games
